Volunteer & Work Crews

Like any organization, Teen Challenge works in partnership with friends of this ministry. We recognize we can't do what God has called us to do by ourselves. We need co-laborers to come alongside us and help minister!

Much of the work that's been done to our buildings and property has been in partnership with these friends and volunteers. In addition, we have folks helping us with administrative functions, in the Quilt Shop, and in our GED & Adult Literacy programs.

Our desire is that, while volunteers help us labor, they also receive a blessing from the spiritual atmosphere here at Teen Challenge. There's nothing like being around people who are desperately hungry for the things of God!

  • Church Groups
Men's groups, youth groups, singles, and couples are examples of some of the church-related groups that have helped us.

Church group projects can range from one day to one-week in length. With proper planning, Teen Challenge provides meals and accommodations for church groups who want to help.

  • RVer's
A special group of volunteers, known as "RVer's", help us from one week to several months at a time. Working through the Mission America Placement Service (MAPS), RVer's are predominately retired couples who travel and donate their labor to help build churches, schools, and other types of ministry-related facilities. Teen Challenge features five fully equipped RV hook-ups on site (water, sewer, and 50-amp electrical), so RVer's can roll in, hook up, and start working!

  • Individuals
Teen Challenge also receives assistance from individuals who have a desire to help minister. Some of these people help on an ongoing basis, while others assist as their schedule permits, or when a particular need arises.
